Fake it 'til you Make it
Hey, thanks for stopping by. You can call me Branta!Y'know sometimes when you see something really pretty and you spend too long looking at the shapes and the colours? That's me, right beside you, staring with wide eyes. Often when there are characters or scenes in media, I love to take a moment and grab a screen shot so that I can play around with the shapes and colours myself.Painting tiny water colour landscapes was a favourite thing for a long time because I could put the supplies I needed in my pocket and go. On the beach, on the boat, in the pub, I'd have my tiny pouch of supplies and be utterly content.Over the last few years I've made more of a transition to digital art and it's been a steep learning curve, but so very enjoyable. I love the feel of sketched out art work and being able to focus on the features that stand out to me, sometimes with a wash of colour passing through it. Very rarely I'll more heavily render out art pieces but they take a while to do.Lately I've found a little delight in pixel art and seamless, tileable, patterns. If there's something you're looking for but you're not sure what it comes under or I don't have it listed, you're absolutely welcome to contact me. If your message goes along the lines of "I like this thing from the gallery. Can you do something similar with my reference/beloved human/character/OC? How much would it cost?" that's perfectly fine and tells me what you want! You can reach me via email, ko-fi, or twitter.

Are there any pictures of landscapes that you already have for inspiration? Would you like something semi-realistic or would you like something more fantasy leaning? Lets talk!If you're looking for a banner or an inline and not a full landscape, let me know what you're thinking and we might be able to adjust prices.

FAQ
(Edit: Currently no Comms available for portrait/character work.)
Yes, I can draw portraits of friends and family. I'd be delighted to work with you on this.Yes, I can draw fandom based content.
If you're looking to have your anime/manga character drawn, it would be extremely helpful if you have an idea or reference for how they would look in a more realistic style.Yes, I can draw Original Characters. If you can provide me with a detailed description of your character, it's a fantastic starting point. If you've gathered some pictures or mood boards for them that's also incredibly helpful. We can discuss this and hopefully work something out that you'll be happy with! When it comes to characters from podcasts or fandoms where there's no 'set' visual art, please read the paragraph above. I'd love to work with you and see how you perceive these characters. For example, The Magnus Archives has many characters that're described but never shown in art or media. Similarly, games like Dead by Daylight have many masked characters who's faces we never see.The more information you can provide me with, the better. It helps me to better understand what you're looking for. Multiple reference pictures are welcome and encouraged!I currently don't draw furry art because it's simply not my forte. I focus on humanoid appearing characters primarily.
